The Bahá’í Women’s Group is inspired by the principles of the Bahá’í Faith, which state that the achievement of full equality between women and men is essential for achieving prosperity for all humankind. These weekly gatherings provide a space for the participants to join in conversation, study, consultation and collaboration to foster a greater understanding of the central role of women in the establishment of peace and justice in a global society, and to translate this understanding into practice in our communities. Topics of study/discussion thus far have included significant women in history, the oneness of humankind, addressing racism, and learning about Indigenous culture.
