Title: Building a better future together – a Bahá’í perspective.
Date: Friday, May 31st
Time: 6:30pm – potluck dinner
Location: Thames Valley Education Centre cafeteria (1250 Dundas St.)

Presenter: Sepideh Taheri

Description:

In a world facing seemingly insurmountable problems, with evidence of disintegration and fragmentation in every sphere of life, can we find an alternative, practical, yet universally applicable model by which to build a peaceful, harmonious society fit for our children to inherit? In this audiovisual presentation, the experience of the global Bahá’í community will be offered as a model for study that could reinforce hope in the possibility of uniting the human race in building a New World Order. Bahá’ís have been patiently refining that model and working with others around them to build up and broaden a system of social organization based on Bahá’u’lláh’s teachings.
